Media Specialist This is my 11th year of teaching. For the past four years I have been a kindergarten teacher in Ankeny. I am very excited to be one of East's media specialists. I can't wait to work with your kids on library and technology skills.

Mrs. Engelstad has a background in the business world and assists students with Iowa Children’s Choice Award book distribution, teachers’ interlibrary loan book requests, and ordering materials. Her expertise and understanding of the ordering process is greatly appreciated!

Policies
- Kindergartners may check out 2 books.
- Students in first through fifth grades may check 3 items.
- The check-out period for books is 10 days.
- The check-out period for puppets and videos is 3 days.
- Magazines may be checked out for 3 days but remain at school.
- Computer software is not available for check-out.
- We do not collect fines. If any material has not been returned within 4 weeks or has been damaged, we will require that you pay to replace this lost or damaged material.
- Overdue notices are sent home each week.
