Recent Activity| Little Hawks Preschool Ankeny Community Schools offers the Little Hawks Preschool, a neighborhood integration program for children ages three to five years old. This program is designed to provide opportunities for typically developing children to play, learn, and interact with peers who have various disabilities. Preschool programs are currently located at Ashland Ridge, Crocker, Westwood and Northeast elementary schools. 3-year-old and 4-year-old programs are available. Each classroom is instructed by a certified preschool teacher. Transportation to and from the preschool is the responsibility of the parent/guardian. Financial assistance is available to families that qualify.

Registration packets will be mailed the week of February 8th to names on the interest list in the order that we received requests. There are limited spots available each location. This procedure will continue bi-weekly until all spots are filled. Any remaining names will be put on a waiting list and will be notified by mail. We will maintain a waiting list all school year and contact families as spots become available. To add your child's name to the interest list:
